Speed Meetings

BANFF’s Speed Meetings are a fantastic opportunity for content creators and producers to meet 1:1 with leading development executives, distributors, programmers and funders in eight-minute meetings. Connect with partners who can help take your screen-based project to the next stage – this program has facilitated thousands of partnerships and has led to millions of dollars in new content.

Production Partners

Production company development execs will be taking 1:1, eight-minute pitches. Similar in format to our Speed Meeting sessions, this is your chance to pitch to production companies and studios who are looking for great ideas and partnerships.

Co-Pro Connect is a 45-minute roundtable session where you have the opportunity to meet with international producers, and funders and decision makers to spark international creative and business partnerships. Driven by the industry’s booming demand for coproduction, this session is focused on connecting Canadian Producers with key players who are navigating and investing in this space. Registered delegates are invited to a free pre-festival virtual session where industry executives—who have heard hundreds of pitches—share their insider tips for mastering in-person pitch meetings at BANFF. Delegates learn directly from the experts as they reveal what works, what doesn’t, and how to stand out. Plus, delegates can ask questions during the live Q&A, making this an invaluable opportunity to fine-tune their pitch ahead of the festival!

These popular 45-minute informal sessions are a great way to connect with the right people and add to your network. Up to 6 delegates can join a topic table at one time; half way through the 45 minute session a bell will ring inviting delegates to move to another table as space allows.
