Warren oversees legal and risk management across the CMPA, providing broad-based strategic legal advice on matters affecting the organization’s internal and external operations including those relating to commercial agreements, employment-related issues, litigation and internal regulatory compliance. Also serving as head of the CMPA’s National Industrial Relations department, Warren is the chief spokesperson for producers in national negotiations with the industry’s unions and guilds representing performers, writers, directors and technicians. Warren also provides expert guidance to independent producers and the Hollywood studios on key industrial relations matters, advocates on producers’ behalf in legal disputes, and plays a leadership role in the advancement of various legislative priorities with both federal and provincial governments.
