Andrew has been a producer for NBA Entertainment for a quarter of a century. He was a field producer during the Last Dance and it was his original idea to go to Michael Jordan with the idea of filming the entire season, which became the narrative centerpiece of the documentary. He is also the uncle of NBA player Klay Thompson, and brother of Mychal Thompson who won two NBA championships with the Los Angeles Lakers.
