Matt Hornburg is Co-CEO/ Partner and Executive Producer at marblemedia. In addition to strategic direction across the company, Matt leads creative development and production for the company’s original TV and Interactive divisions, including its most recent push into primetime with the launch of new scripted and unscripted divisions.

Together with business partner Mark Bishop, Matt has built marblemedia into one of Canada’s leading independent production, distribution and digital media companies by thinking differently and tapping into opportunities afforded by the company’s strong reputation and relationships with talent and partners around the world.

A new dad and a fan of all things Star Wars, Matt’s love of creative storytelling, big worlds and strong characters started young and has inspired the company’s robust and diverse slate, putting the company on the map as a key industry player skilled at bringing great ideas to screen in original ways, and continuing to expand in new areas.

Mark and Matt have been honoured by Playback with the Outstanding Achievement Award, recognized as Top Next Gen Producers by The Hollywood Reporter, and have won Producer of the Year at the Canadian New Media Awards and the Lionsgate Innovative Producer’s Award in addition to many program specific accolades from Canadian Screen Awards, Interactive Emmy Award, Gemini Awards and more.
