Lisa Hamilton Daly joined Netflix as Director, Original Series in January 2018, and currently oversees the development and production of the upcoming drama series Spinning Out, Firefly Lane, Sweet Magnolias and Tiny Pretty Things, among others. Previously she worked for A+E's Lifetime channel, developing movies, miniseries, and backdoor pilots, including the 8-hour Flowers in the Attic wheel of movies and several Emmy-nominated shows including Flint, starring Queen Latifah. For Lifetime Films, she oversaw the production of several independent films including Lila & Eve, starring Viola Davis and Jennifer Lopez, and Paris Can Wait starring Diane Lane and Alec Baldwin. Prior to Lifetime/A+E, Lisa worked at DreamWorks Pictures in development and creative and literary affairs in both the Los Angeles and New York offices. She started her career at Artists Management Group, Michael Ovitz's management venture, in the literary rights department. She holds an M.A./Ph.D. in English and American Literature and Languages from Harvard University.
