Grace Tran
Director of Global Series

Grace Tran is a Director of Global Series at Universal International Studios, one of the scripted studios within Universal Studio Group at NBC Universal. She works in both scripted Development and Current across US, UK, Australia, and Canadian series. She works with production companies across the globe such as Heyday Television, Lark, and Matchbox Pictures to identify, develop, and sell global series. She has helped launch series such as Liane Moriarty’s Apples Never Fall (Peacock), TRANSPLANT (NBC/CTV), and the Peabody winning series, We Are Lady Parts (Channel 4/ Peacock).
Growing up in a multi-cultural and multi-lingual household has informed her passion for telling global stories and hopes to continue creating shows that can help create bridges between cultures. A native of Southern California, she graduated from the University of Southern California with a BA in Communications and started her career at CAA.
