Speaker Samantha De France
Samantha De France is an accomplished Production Executive with a wealth of experience in the entertainment industry. Currently, she serves as Senior Production Executive at Amazon MGM Studios in Toronto. In this role, De France is a key player in the unscripted production department, overseeing the successful delivery of a variety of content for Prime Video.
Over the course of her two decades in the industry, De France has held a number of key roles throughout North America, former roles including, COO at Our House Media and Director of Programming & Development at Cineflix Productions. De France's expertise in production management, talent development, and content creation has played a significant role in the success of numerous television shows and films.
In addition to her work at Amazon MGM Studios, De France is also actively involved in the industry as a member of the Canadian Film and Television Production Association (CFTPA), the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and the Women in Film and Television (WIFT) Toronto Chapter. She is a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion in the entertainment industry and has been recognized for her contributions to promoting these values.
