Larry Grimaldi

Larry Grimaldi is Senior Vice President of Development & Production at Marvista Entertainment, where he helps create, develop, and produce entertainment programming in the television movie, scripted and independent feature film space. Currently, he and his team manage a slate of more than three dozen projects in various stages of development and production across many domestic and international networks and streaming services. 

At MarVista, Grimaldi has been responsible for more than 75 television films made for Netflix, Amazon, Disney, Hallmark, Lifetime, BET, OWN, Disney Channel and Discovery+, to name a few. Recent highlights include Daughter of the Bride, the Disney Original Movie, Under Wraps, Amazon’s Christmas Is Canceled, Netflix’s Falling Inn Love, and the independent YA film, Swimming for Gold, which can be seen on Hulu.

Grimaldi also most recently served as an executive producer on the E!/Peacock films, Arranged Love, Royal Rendezvous, and Maybe it’s You. Series credits include The Way Home and The Way Home 2 for Hallmark. 

Before joining MarVista, Grimaldi was an independent producer for many years where he created programming for Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Peacock, Disney+, Discovery+, BET+, OWN, Hallmark, Lifetime, Bravo, MTV, VH1, WE, TLC, CBS, Animal Planet and E Entertainment. He previously also served as a producer on Rich Kids of Beverly Hills; for E, as well as multiple seasons of Bravo’s successful TV series: Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Real Housewives of Orange County. In addition, his unscripted producing credits include a TV series about skateboarders and BMX’ers called Next X, which premiered on Disney XD, How Do I Look (Style), Switched (ABC Family) and the controversial Boy Meets Boy (Bravo). Grimaldi has also made documentary films including the awarding winning Camp Out, a film centering on a bible camp for Gay Christian kids for MTV Networks/Logo and the indie doc film, 55 Bucks, about impoverished women in Tanzania, Africa. 

Besides having a great love for television and film, Grimaldi is also an avid theatergoer, self-proclaimed foodie, world traveler and lover of all things Italian. He graduated from Villanova University and started his career working for veteran film producer Freddie Fields. Grimaldi currently lives in Los Angeles.
