Speaker Jennifer Irons
Jennifer Irons is a writer turned talent agent, who founded META Talent Agency, the first Black-owned film & TV literary talent agency in Canada, with a mission to help increase access and opportunities for Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (BIPOC) writers and directors.
In 2021 Jennifer was named one of Playbacks 10 to Watch, and in 2022 was a participant of the BANFF Spark Accelerator for Women in Business, and the Reelworld Black Entrepreneur Program. Other “firsts” for Jennifer includes founding the first Black-owned, multi-location hospice in the US. Jennifer’s commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion is unmistakable.
