Speaker Jean La Rose
Jean La Rose is a First Nations citizen from the Abenakis First Nation of Odanak. He is the President/CEO of Dadan Sivunivut, an Indigenous owned, operated and managed company that oversees subsidiary companies in the digital media production and distribution sectors as well as radio, music rights and talent management industries for the benefit of Indigenous Peoples seeking to establish themselves in those sectors of the economy.
In November 2002, he was named Chief Executive Officer of APTN after serving for 8 years as the Communications Officer and then Director of the Assembly of First Nations (AFN). He currently lives in Ottawa.
