Kim Larsen is the Head of Television and Production at the national broadcasting corporation of Greenland, Kalaallit Nunaata Radio, also known as KNR Radio/TV. He’s held the position since 2016. Kim has worked for more than 40 years in live video and audio production and has three decades of leadership experience.
Previously, Kim was a Cultural Consultant for the Government of Greenland’s department of culture where he advised on film, art and sport. He was also the Manager of live production and equipment sales for Atlantic Music ApS for two years, as well as the head of cultural arrangements and production at the famed Katuaq Cultural Centre in Nuuk for almost a decade. The centre features a cinema and hosts music concerts, plays and art exhibitions.
Kim also did a stint early in his career as the project manager of production at KNR Radio/TV and as a producer for Inuk Video Production. His training is in project management, sound engineering and video production.
