Miles Perkins is a key member of Epic Games’ Unreal Engine team, driving strategic business development and adoption of real-time workflows in the media & entertainment industry, informed by his extensive experience in film, television, and emerging technologies.
Miles built his career over 23 years at Lucasfilm, ultimately serving as the Head of Corporate Communications where he was responsible for the development and execution of global marketing and PR initiatives across all Lucasfilm brands including Industrial Light & Magic, Skywalker Sound, and LucasArts. During his time at Lucasfilm he served as a member of senior staff and oversaw marketing and PR campaigns for blockbusters including the Star Wars prequels, the Jurassic Park series, the Pirates of the Caribbean series, Iron Man 1 & 2, and is credited on films such as Super 8, Rango, Star Trek, Transformers 1 & 2, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, and Iron Man.
Following his tenure at Lucasfilm, Miles went on to serve as VP of Marketing at Jaunt, one of the earliest and most technologically innovative startups in the XR industry, where he played an essential role in business strategy and promoting Jaunt’s proprietary XR tools for cinematic interactive experiences.
