With 20 years of production experience, Jonathan (JP) Partridge joined A&E as Senior Executive Producer in 2019. He is responsible for overseeing current programming and developing original unscripted content for the network. Prior to joining A&E, JP served as Vice President of Development at MTV and VH1, where he managed the creation of shows in the alternative space.
As a seasoned showrunner and independent developer, JP has previously held positions at various production companies in New York. During this time, he spearheaded production and development of shows for most of the major cable networks including Bravo, Discovery, Animal Planet, Lifetime, WE tv, HGTV, CMT, A&E and TLC. Most notably, JP created and showran over 75 episodes of TLC’s multi-season hit show Long Island Medium. Partridge began his career at MTV, working on its lucrative hidden camera game show, Boiling Points and iconic studio music video countdown show, TRL. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Video/ Television at Hofstra University.
