Dan Selig is Senior Vice President, Americas for Endeavor Content and oversees all sales activity for the international television group in the United States, Canada and across Latin America.
Before joining EC, Selig was senior vice president, Worldwide Distribution, for HBO, responsible for all off-network TV sales of HBO original programming globally as well as non-theatrical ancillary sales such as worldwide airline sales. Selig began his career at HBO in March 2004 as director of Sales.
Prior to HBO, Selig was vice president, Non-Theatrical Sales and Marketing, for Terry Steiner International, Inc., where he worked from May 1999 to March 2004. In this position he was responsible for the distribution of feature films and TV programs to airlines and other niche markets domestically and internationally. Among the clients he represented were Miramax Films, Focus Features, ThinkFilms, Canal Plus, HBO, MTV/VH1, Nickelodeon and Comedy Central. He started at Terry Steiner as director, Sales and Marketing.
Selig’s extensive background in sales includes stints in the domestic syndication world as an account executive for CBS Television/Eyemark Entertainment, where he presented, negotiated and closed sales for TV programs to broadcasters throughout the Northeast territory; and Paramount Pictures, where he sold feature films, television programming and library product to airlines, service vendor companies and domestic hotels. He began his career as a page in the CBS Television Page Program, assisting in front-of- house activities for The Late Show with David Letterman, Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher, Dennis Miller Live, The Price is Right, Cosby and The Late Late Show with Tom Snyder.
Selig is a member of the Academy of Television, Arts & Sciences. He is a graduate of Ithaca College, where he received a BS in Corporate Communications.
