Spanning the production of TV, feature film and digital content, Shaftesbury titles are sold in over 150 countries worldwide. Primetime projects include acclaimed international hits Murdoch Mysteries, Frankie Drake Mysteries, Hudson & RexDeparture, and ReGenesis. Shaftesbury’s slate of kids and family programming includes global hit Life With Derek, as well as new content centred on inspiring interest in STEAM, with The Solutioneers, MiikshiIt Stinks!, and Emerald Code. Shaftesbury’s in-house, Emmy® Award-winning immersive and branded entertainment studio, Shaftesbury XR, works with broadcasters and brands to create ground-breaking stories and games in digital, virtual, augmented, and mixed reality experiences, including the global phenomenon Carmilla for U by Kotex/Kimberly-Clark, Turning the Tables for göt2b®/Henkel, Futurithmic for Nokia, The D Cut for Dove, children’s therapeutic support game Bubble Bloom, and VR horror game Wrest.

 

Jennings is a graduate of the Canadian Film Centre and currently serves as Chair of the Centre’s Board of Directors. Named to Maclean’s Power List of Canada’s 50 Most Powerful People, Jennings’ recent awards and honours include Playback’s Producer of the Decade, the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television’s prestigious Academy Achievement Award, the PROFIT Award for Excellence in Entrepreneurship at RBC’s Canadian Woman Entrepreneur Awards, the Innovative Producer Award at the Banff World Television Festival, and an appointment to the prestigious Order of Canada in 2019. Jennings currently serves as Vice-Chair on the newly created Film and Television Advisory Panel, created by the ministry of Ontario in 2020.
