In his role as Director of Development at Bay Mills Studios, Tse is dedicated to showcasing diverse narratives and promoting Black stories. He successfully led the production of The Legacy Awards, Canada’s inaugural live award show honouring Black talent, which received eight Canadian Screen Award nominations and won Best Live Entertainment Special.
With a decade of experience in community programming, Tse has made significant strides in the music, film, and entertainment industries. As the Director of Operations for The Black Academy, he focuses on empowering the Black film industry through educational initiatives, networking, and mentorship programs.
Tse enjoys spontaneous travel adventures, like visiting the Great Wall of China. Interestingly, his first name is Tse (pronounced T-say), not Daniel.
