Speaker Julie Kim
Julie Kim is a content distributor from MBC, a TV broadcaster based in Seoul, Korea.
MBC is the original copyright holder of the global hit show format ‘The Masked Singer’ (FOX) and also produces the TV show ‘When the Phone Rings’ (Netflix).
Currently, she is working with OTT business partners such as Disney Korea and RAKUTEN VIKI to enable K-content to reach a larger audience worldwide.
In 2024, she signed deal for drama distribution between MBC and Disney Korea. She is planning to release "Perfect Crown" starring IU and Byun Woo-seok worldwide in 2026.
During the Banff Festival, she plans to introduce the game show format called "Bloody Game" to production companies worldwide.
