Speaker Roxann Whitebean
Roxann Karonhiarokwas Whitebean is a media artist from the Mohawk Territories of Kahnawà:ke and Akwesasne, with over ten years of experience in the film industry. Her work has been featured on platforms such as CBC, Paramount+, CBS, APTN, TVO Kids, and PBS, as well as film festivals around the world.
While she received informal training at the start of her career, Roxann completed a screenwriting and film producing program at Concordia University in 2024. She has also taught at both Concordia University and the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity.
