Speaker Christopher White
Christopher White is a Métis filmmaker and educational video producer. Throughout his career, Christopher has been involved in a wide variety of projects, ranging from documentary films that explore the cultural heritage and resilience of Indigenous peoples to gripping narrative features.
An occasional animator, puppeteer and video game designer, Christopher aims to seamlessly blend traditional storytelling with modern cinematic techniques and an eye for old Hollywood. He recently completed a five-episode children’s puppet series on Métis culture, Michif Makers, and he is currently collaborating with the National Film Board of Canada on its Indigenous Voices initiative.
