Speaker Sami Goldberg
Sami Goldberg is an accomplished film and television composer, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, and a member of the Emmy-winning and BAFTA-nominated composer collective Bleeding Fingers Music.
Most recently, Sami completed scoring Outrageous, a BBC mini-series set in the 1930s, chronicling the scandal and privilege of the aristocratic Mitford Sisters. In collaboration with Bleeding Fingers principal composer Kara Talve, she co-composed the music for Hallmark Channel's My Norwegian Holiday and The Finnish Line. Furthermore, she composed additional music for NBC’s nature docuseries The Americas, narrated by Tom Hanks.
A graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, Sami majored in both film scoring and composition and minored in conducting. During her time at Berklee, she was awarded the Georges Delerue Memorial Scholarship—the highest honor given to a senior student whose writing reflects the warmth and emotional depth found in the Oscar-winning composer’s work.
