Tara is Director of Content for Netflix Canada, where she develops and commissions English and French-language content with Canadian talent. Recently, she and the Canadian team launched their first scripted series, North of North, in collaboration with CBC and APTN. Upcoming projects include the thriller Wayward, starring Toni Collette and created by comedian Mae Martin; a documentary film about the Montreal Expos; and an event-limited set in Newfoundland about a fisherman and a mysterious sea creature.
She previously served as VP of Development for Sphere Media, where she was an Executive Producer on the smash hit medical drama Transplant for CTV and NBC. She also produced the sci-fi thriller film Night Raiders, directed by Danis Goulet and with Taika Waititi as EP, which premiered at TIFF ’21 and won the DGC Discovery Award.
She attended the Executive Program for Media Leadership at the Rotman School of Management and has a BA in Communications from the University of Winnipeg.
