Cheryl Lynch is Executive Vice President and Head of Business Affairs and Scripted Formats for Sony Pictures Television International Productions. Based in Los Angeles, Lynch oversees business affairs for 15 production companies across the globe, playing a key role in shaping the strategic direction of these entities. In this role, Lynch advises on original scripted and unscripted programming, including deal-making with prominent local broadcasters such as the BBC and ITV in the UK, Azteca, and Globo in Latin America, and Stan and the ABC in Australia, as well as with global streaming services, such as Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.

As a member of the senior management team for SPT International Production under President of International Production, Wayne Garvie, Lynch advises on divisional and production company growth strategies and initiatives. Lynch also serves on the boards of Bad Wolf, Eleven Film, Whisper Films, and Left Bank Pictures, offering strategic guidance and industry insights.

Additionally, Lynch manages Sony’s worldwide scripted formats business, overseeing the licensing and production of SPT’s formats internationally, including the recent ratings success, Casados Con Hijos in Mexico.

Previously, Lynch was senior vice president, business affairs for international production at SPT. Prior to joining SPT, Lynch was a vice president of business and legal affairs at FOX. She also held the role of director of business and legal affairs at Showtime.

Lynch earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wellesley College as well as a JD from the University of Florida. She is an avid world traveler and loves spending time with her twins, husband, yellow lab and sassy cat.
