Yi Qiao
Director Drama
ZDF Studios GmbH
Yi Qiao is the Director for Drama at ZDF Studios, the commercial arm of German public broadcaster ZDF. She is responsible for acquisitions and sales operations across North America, UK, Australia / New Zealand and Scandinavia. Her remit covers identifying and developing scripted projects at an early stage for co-production and co-financing opportunities as well as initiating pre-sale conversations and sales of finished content into these markets. Projects include Before We Die (Channel 4 / PBS), Clean Sweep (RTE / SundanceNow) and the upcoming The Puzzle Lady (Channel 5).
Prior to joining ZDFS, Yi Qiao worked as a senior sales manager for Red Arrow Studios International in London, overseeing sales of scripted and unscripted content into the UK, Benelux, Scandinavia, Middle East and Africa.
