Jordy Randall

Executive Producer

SEVEN24 Films

Jordy Randall’s focus on scripted content as a film and television producer has established SEVEN24 Films as one of Canada’s premiere content producers. He has been an Executive Producer on the award-winning series Heartland since its inception. Now in its seventeenth season on CBC, the series is the longest running one-hour dramatic series in Canadian history.

He is also currently an Executive Producer on Family Law, the hit series on Global and CW, now shooting its fourth season. He also executive produced Wynonna Earp, the two-time People’s Choice Award winning supernatural series for Syfy and CTV Sci-Fi, and produced an all-new installment earlier in 2024 for Tubi.

Over the past decade he has guided the integration of scripted programming with social media integration, which has helped make Heartland and Wynonna Earp two of the most dynamic scripted television projects in the digital space.

Randall’s Canadian Screen Award winning productions include JANN the hit comedy series for CTV, the movies Borealis and Mayerthorpe, as well as the mini-series Burn Up. Other significant series credits include Billy the Kid for Epix, Ride for Hallmark and CTV, Damnation with NBCUniversal for USA Network, Fortunate Son, a political thriller for CBC and NBCU International, Dark Cargo, a noir thriller for YouTube Premium, Young Drunk Punk, a comedy series starring Kids in the Hall alumni Bruce McCulloch, Wild Roses, North of 60, Tom Stone, Shoebox Zoo and Dinosapien.

Feature film and television movie credits include the Academy Award nominated movie Brokeback Mountain, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, Resurrecting the Champ starring Samuel L. Jackson, The Ron Clark Story starring Matthew Perry, After the Harvest with Sam Shepard, Chasing Freedom starring Juliette Lewis, The Sheldon Kennedy Story for CTV and The Walter Gretzky Story for CBC.

Jordy is a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal in recognition of his contribution to the arts in Canada and SEVEN24 Films was recently named Playback Magazine’s Production Company of the Year.
