Elita is the vice president of Communications, CBS Stations at Paramount Global. She is a corporate communications and publicity strategist who has held roles at Fortune 500 companies, global private and public powerhouse organizations, sports agencies, and the largest integrated healthcare system in the country. As a trusted media advisor to almost 20 C-Suite execs and presidents combined over the past 10+ years, Elita has led executive communications, critical issues management and spearheaded corporate communications and publicity functions in the sports, entertainment, media, health care, energy and transportation/logistics industries. Some of those previous companies include Kaiser Permanente, GAC Shipping, Aggreko Energy, Leigh Steinberg Enterprises, and under The Walt Disney Company she was the Vice President, Corporate Communications for National Geographic Content and Director of Communications & Publicity for ABC Owned Television Stations. While at ABC she secured unprecedented media coverage for the station group.

She has a solid track record of developing integrated communication campaigns and strategies that capture the narrative and business objective of global and matrixed companies. She led North America corporate communications for the largest global temporary power provider in the world, headquartered in Glasgow, and separately, led corporate communications of North and South America for one of the largest shipping operator companies in the world, headquartered in Dubai.

Entrepreneurial at heart, Elita founded a successful 1700 sq. ft. gourmet cupcake bakery that was widely popular in the North Houston region in Texas, known for its baked-from scratch selection of over 50 different monthly flavors, while simultaneously overseeing corporate communications for global companies. Elita personally trained every baker she employed, at times working side by side with them at 3:00 a.m. before heading to the office. She is most proud of being a mentor to many, a wife and mother to five wonderful children.
