Speaker Sam Mackie
Sam leads Netflix's Canadian Licensing efforts across Series, Features, and Unscripted content. He is also part of the Global TV Licensing team and is responsible for bringing beloved series like Suits, Young Sheldon, and a catalog of HBO series such as Sex and the City to Netflix. He has also led branded co-commissions of titles such as Fakes. Sam was a Content Acquisition Manager at Amazon Prime Video before joining Netflix and holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson, along with a BA in Marketing. Sam grew up 35 miles from the Canadian border in metro Detroit, is an avid golfer, and outdoor enthusiast.
