Currently a Producer and Co-General Manager, Desiree joined Animiki See Digital Production in October 2010 as a Producer and the Manager of Production. She has produced several live music specials, events and series, including: Indigenous Day Live and National Day for Truth & Reconciliation; numerous documentaries and factual series, including the CSA-nominated First Contact, 1491: The Untold Story of the Americas Before Columbus, based on the New York Times best-selling book by Charles C. Mann and three seasons of APTN’s latest paranormal series: Ghost Hunters of the Grand River.
Desiree has also produced four seasons of the French-language magazine series: Sans Réserve, for APTN. Prior to working at Animiki See, she was the Manager of Programming, Central Region, developing and commissioning original programming for Aboriginal Peoples Television Network.
Desiree has held several development and production positions in the Winnipeg media community since 2002.
