Speaker Troy Reeb
Troy Reeb is Executive Vice President, Networks and Content at Corus Entertainment, overseeing all broadcast, streaming, studio content and operations.
Since 2019, Troy has led the Global Television Network and its 15 owned-and-operated stations, as well Corus’ 33 specialty networks, three national streaming services and 39 radio stations. Brands in his portfolio include STACKTV, HGTV Canada, W Network, History, Showcase, Global News, and the Curiouscast podcast network.
In 2023, Troy added responsibilities for production and distribution of original studio content, including Corus Studios, and children’s animation house Nelvana.
Troy was previously SVP, News, Radio and Station Operations, where he pioneered Global News’ award-winning Multi-Market Content (MMC) broadcast model and led a digital-first strategy to launch 15 streaming local
news channels. Prior to his executive roles, Troy was a political reporter and former Washington Bureau Chief for Global News.
Troy is a graduate of the Broadcast Journalism program at Lethbridge College, where he was named Distinguished Alumni in 2003 and was awarded an honorary degree in 2019. He completed the CTAM executive leadership program at Harvard Business School in 2015.
Troy serves on several boards of directors, including as chair of Aircraft Pictures and National Geographic Canada.
