Andrew Morris is the Manager of Independent Production at Accessible Media Inc., where he oversees the development, production and business affairs of commissioned content for AMI-tv, a not-for-profit broadcaster that establishes and supports a voice for Canadians with disabilities, representing their interests, concerns and values through accessible media, reflection and portrayal. He is recognized as an advocate for authentic representation of people with disabilities in the media, a mentor to emerging media producers, and regularly gives presentations on content development and media accessibility. Some recent career highlights include commissioning the documentary series Employable Me, winner of the Banff World Media Festival Rockie Award for Best Lifestyle Series the past three years in a row, as well as the podcast/TV series What Happened to Holly Bartlett, one of Oprah Magazine's “12 True-Crime Podcasts That Will Give You Goosebumps”.
