As Commissioning Editor of Kids TV for TVO, Kirsten is responsible for all commissions and programming of the Kids block and a suite of TVOkids branded digital channels. TVOkids commissions and acquires a wide range of educational kids programming from all over the world and ensures it complements learning pathways for all children in Ontario.
Kirsten has over 20 years of television experience including 5 years in acquisitions for TVOkids and 15 years in international sales most recently as Director of Acquisitions and Canada Sales at Distribution360 (marblemedia). She has also held sales and management positions at Cookie Jar Entertainment, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) and Decode/DHX Media.
