Melanie Windle (BFA, MFA) is an award-winning producer, mentor, and media entrepreneur. She was recently appointed the Executive Director of The Sustainable Production Forum (SPF), a global event that accelerates decarbonization in content creation. Most recently, she served as Director of Industry Programming at Whistler Film Festival. Her favourite pieces of content from her filmography are the Carmilla Series and the Carmilla Movie, garnering over 100 million views on YouTube and an engaged worldwide fandom. Lauren Ash (Not Dead Yet) and Ennis Esmer Children Ruin Everything both won Best Performance at the Canadian Comedy Award for her indie feature Dirty Singles, written and directed by Alex Pugsley.
Melanie is an alumna of the Banff Spark Accelerator for Women in the Business of Media, the Canadian Film Centre's Cineplex Film Program – Producers' Lab, and the Short Dramatic Film Program.
