Quincy Isaiah (age 26) was born in Muskegon, Michigan. He played football at Muskegon High School, and continued to play football throughout his college career at Kalamazoo. During Isaiah’s senior year of college, he starred in two plays on the main stage. Since moving to Los Angeles, he has worked on multiple USC student short films.
Isaiah landed his first major acting role as the lead in Adam McKay’s HBO series WINNING TIME: THE RISE OF THE LAKERS DYNASTY. Written by Max Borenstein (GODZILLA), the show chronicles the professional and personal life of Magic Johnson (Isaiah) and the 1980s Lakers team. The series is based on Jeff Pearlman’s nonfiction book SHOWTIME: MAGIC, KAREEM, RILEY, AND THE LOS ANGELES LAKERS DYNASTY OF THE 1980S, and released in March 2022.
