Julie Nolke

Actor, Writer, Filmmaker and YouTube Creator

Julie Nolke is an award-winning Actor, Writer, Filmmaker and the creator of her self-titled comedy YouTube channel (~1 million subscribers). In 2021 Julie won three Webby Awards for Best Individual Performance, Audience Choice for Best Viral Video, and Best Writing for her video “Explaining the Pandemic to my Past
Self” (~21 million views), and in 2020 she was named a Top Canadian Breakout Creator by YouTube.

Additionally, Julie has been nominated for a 2021 Streamy Award for Best Writing! In 2019, her short film, Are We Bad Feminists, screened at Buffer Festival where she won overall “Excellence in Writing”.

While writing, producing, editing and acting in content for the web, Julie also works in film and TV.

Recent credits include: Murdoch Mysteries (CBC), What We Do in the Shadows (FX), Coroner (CBC), Odd Squad (PBS), TallBoyz (CBC), Workin’ Moms (CBC/Netflix), and Cabin Connection (Super Channel). Julie can currently be seen in the series recurring role of “Sam” on Run the Burbs (CBC).
