Once a lawyer in New York City, Jonathan Lisco began his television career writing for the Emmy Award- winning series NYPD Blue. He went on to write and produce numerous episodes of The District, Jack & Bobby, and K-Ville, which he created. Lisco won a Peabody Award for writing and executive producing the acclaimed series Southland. He also executive produced and ran the critical darling Halt and Catch Fire. He then created, executive produced, and ran the hit series Animal Kingdom, which is closing out its sixth season. An Illinois native who is still not jaded about working in Hollywood, Lisco is thrilled to be executive producing and co-showrunning Yellowjackets with his trusted collaborators, and now dear friends, Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson. Yellowjackets won the Critics Choice Super Award for Best Horror Series. It has also been nominated for a Peabody Award. Lisco is currently hard at work on Season 2 of Yellowjackets, which will start shooting this summer.
