Amanda Krentzman is the Head of International Original Series at Snap overseeing series development, content strategy, global slates and leading international teams. Amanda is also a senior scripted and unscripted exec in the US, with a focus on series produced by or starring A-List talent. In just over a year Amanda launched Snap’s first ever series outside of the US, Phone Swap India, commissioned Snap’s first UK series, A Fighting Chance with Anthony Joshua, landed top talent for tentpole series, including Off Thee Leash with Megan Thee Stallion, and brought to life an impactful series that connected with Gen Z in communities of color and inspired them to take action to change their world for the better, Life’s a Tripp with Trippie Redd.
Prior to Snap, Amanda joined Netflix in early 2016 to form their International Originals team. Amanda shepherded and executive produced a wide range of international series including Netflix’s first original Spanish language series Club de Cuervos, their first Original from Spain Cable Girls, and many more. Amanda came to Netflix by way of The Jackal Group, Gail Berman’s Fox co-owned studio, where she was the Director of Scripted Development and responsible for Cooper Barrett’s Guide to Surviving Life (Fox Comedy Series). Prior to the Jackal Group, Amanda served as the Director of TV and Head of Talent for Electus, Ben Silverman’s IAC owned Studio. At Electus, she guided shows such as Jane the Virgin (CW Series) and Fashion Star (NBC Series). Amanda graduated Wesleyan University with a BA in Economics. She also co-founded and runs Hollywood WEST (Women Executives Stronger Together), an organization with over 300 active members with a mission to connect and elevate Women in the Entertainment Industry.
