Chelsea Dern is a TV Scripted Agent at WME. In her role, she works with writers, directors, talent, and producers with a focus on underrepresented and diverse voices. Dern’s extensive roster includes talent like Tessa Thompson, Mahershala Ali, Amy Chozick, Amanda Idoko, Rick Famiyuwa and many more.
Dern began her career in the WME mailroom. She went on to work for agents across the company, including CEO Ari Emanuel, before becoming an agent in the scripted group.
Dern is a proud LA native who has grown up in a large, unique, and multicultural family. She is a graduate of The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. and the Marlborough School in Los Angeles. Dern currently resides in Los Angeles with her 14 year old beagle, Oliver.
