Chrystine Girard holds the position of Head of international distribution of Encore Television-Distribution, part of Encore, an integrated entertainment group, one of the most prolific production companies in scripted series (comedy and drama), live comedy specials, theater plays and artist management. She handles distribution of Encore’s full content library for international licensing and format adaptations – Dark Soul (Bête noire), Runaway (Fugueuse), For Sarah, Les Beaux Malaises, Six Degrees (Six Degrés) – as well as the company’s third-party drama and youth series such as A Criminal Affair (Une affaire criminelle) and The Cavaliers (Les cavaliers), documentaries and factual series. With 25 years of experience in the international TV and media business industry, Girard is specialized in identifying, acquiring and exploiting TV and media content rights for all media platforms, worldwide. Girard holds an Executive MBA from Concordia University, a Bachelor’s degree in Translation from Université Laval. In 2017, she completed an Executive MBA from the Berlin School of Creative Leadership (Steinbeis University, Germany).
