Content Creation from an Anti-Racist Lens

PARTNER PRESENTATION: Global and Canadian players discuss the lessons learned, new approaches taken, and best practices used to produce successful screen content through the sharp focus of an anti-racism lens. Moving beyond the performative nature of some equity, inclusion and representation initiatives, this conversation will focus on the next frontier in the ongoing battle to dismantle the racist practices and systemic discrimination in the content industry: giving full narrative, creative and industrial agency to creators from underrepresented groups so they tell their own communities’ stories, from their unique perspectives and lived experiences.
