Mary Bredin is the EVP of Content & Strategy at Guru and is involved in all aspects of running the studio. As Executive Producer, she focuses on finding great properties, having createdJustin Time(52x11; 22x11; 2x22) for Family Jr. and Netflix; Dinopaws(52 x 11) for Treehouse and BBC, and the soon to be released Netflix Original,True and the RainbowKingdom series (2x22).
Previously her jobs included 8 years at the Disney Channels in London, England, as Director of Programming + Acquisitions for the Worldwide Programming Strategy group and Director of Acquisitions for Viasat, the broadcast division of the Modern Times Group. Mary moved back to Toronto in 2007, after 15 years of living in Europe including four years in Paris, prior to living in London. Mary is presently on the Board of CASO and is a fully qualified lawyer to the Bar of Ontario.
