Speaker Ken Jeong
Ken Jeong is an actor, producer, writer, and comedian who has become one of the most recognizable and in-demand multihyphenates in entertainment. After breakout roles in Knocked Up and The Hangover franchise, Jeong built a career spanning studio film, premium television, and animation, with a signature mix of comedic precision and surprising dramatic range. Ken cemented his industry prowess by earning a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2024.
A pillar of FOX’s primetime slate, Jeong currently appears as a panelist on The Masked Singer, hosts and executive produces I Can See Your Voice, and previously served as a panelist on The Masked Dancer. He recently headlined FOX’s competition series 99 to Beat alongside Erin Andrews, also producing the project. Prior to headlining “Kensdays” on FOX, Jeong created, wrote, and starred in ABC’s Dr. Ken and is widely known for his work on hit tv series such as Community, The Afterparty, The Pentaverate, and Murderville. In a departure from his comedic roots, Jeong was seen in Season 2 of FOX’s legal anthology Accused.
On the film side, Jeong’s credits include Crazy Rich Asians, Step Brothers, Pineapple Express, Role Models, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, and more, alongside expansive voice work in major animated titles, including Netflix’s award winning KPOP Demon Hunters, which swiftly became the most-streamed film in Netflix history, shattering records at the box office and on music charts.
Up next, he will appear in Amazon MGM Studios’ holiday family comedy The Man with the Bag and in the upcoming crime thriller 52nd State, directed by former Netflix VP Todd S. Yellin and executive produced by Netflix co-founder Reed Hastings. He’ll also be featured in a forthcoming KPOP Shark Heroes special at Discovery Channel, alongside fellow KPOP Demon Hunters alum Rei Ami. The multihyphenate has multiple projects in development across film and television, including How Can We Help at FOX and the forthcoming Community film.
Ken’s impact in the industry has garnered multiple accolades, including being inducted into the Asian Hall of Fame, honored with The Critics Choice Comedy Trailblazer Award, bestowed the Rodney Dangerfield Comedy Icon Award, and awarded with Catalina Film Festival’s King of Comedy Award. Ken will be presented with The Sir Peter Ustinov Award at the Rockie Awards Gala this coming June. Jeong’s path into entertainment is famously unconventional: he earned his undergraduate degree at Duke University and his medical degree at the University of North Carolina, completing an internal medicine residency in New Orleans while performing stand-up. In 2019, Jeong returned to his stand-up roots for his first-ever Netflix comedy special, “Ken Jeong: You Complete Me, Ho. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and twin daughters and supports Stand Up 2 Cancer.
