Speaker Robb Wells
Originally from Moncton, New Brunswick, filmmaker/actor Robb Wells grew up in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia where he currently resides.
Wells is best known for his role of Ricky in the multi award-winning hit series, TRAILER PARK BOYS, as well as numerous films produced under the Trailer Park Boys banner. A writer, actor, director, and producer on many of the Trailer Park Boys titles, Wells, along with his TPB co-stars John Paul Tremblay and Mike Smith, purchased the show rights in 2013 and then founded the internet streamer Swearnet. The following year, in partnership with Netflix, Swearnet began producing new episodes and specials of the franchise, as well as the spinoff series TRAILER PARK BOYS: JAIL, and TRAILER PARK BOYS: PARK AFTER DARK.
Additional acting credits include roles in the series Hudson + Rex and Diggstown, as well as feature films Dawn, Her Dad & The Tractor, Would you Rather, Boondocks Saints II: All Saint’s Day, Virginia’s Run, Vandits (alongside Jann Arden and Enrico Colantoni), and Phreaker. Wells’ latest film Standing on The Shoulders of Kitties: The Bubbles and the Shitrockers Story (with appearances by Billy Bob Thornton and Keith Richards), alongside Mike Smith and John Paul Tremblay, was released in 2024.
In addition to his starring role of Todd Stool in the award winning series The Trades, Wells is also a producer on the series, now in its third season.
