Speaker Brent Haynes
Brent joined Amazon MGM Studios in 2021, where he oversees the development and production slate for Canada, including The Lake, Three Pines, The Sticky, ROMCON: Who the F**k is Jason Porter, Faceoff: Inside the NHL, and the recent hit Vitrerie Joyal (The Glass House). Prior to Amazon MGM Studios, Brent spent over two decades in comedy and unscripted programming across Canada and the U.S. He began his career at CBC in Toronto before moving to CTV for the launch of The Comedy Network, where he oversaw hit series including The Tom Green Show and Corner Gas while leading programming, development, and production teams. He served as Senior Vice President of Comedy & Animation for MTV in New York, developing and managing over 15 series including Silent Library, World of Jenks, The Buried Life, and Nikki & Sara Live. In 2014, Brent shifted to producing with Picture Arcade, creating two seasons of Crash Gallery for CBC before joining Shout! Studios in Los Angeles as Head of Content Development, where he executive produced Memory Hole with Will Arnett for Quibi and a remake of Roger Corman's Slumber Party Massacre for Syfy. Brent is based in Vancouver, Canada.
