Speaker Timothy Kuryak
Timothy Kuryak leads the acquisition, development, and launch of exclusive and original programming for LG Channels. He is responsible for identifying and building strategic partnerships with production companies and independent producers – overseeing everything from negotiation and development through production and premiere.
An Emmy-nominated executive, writer, and producer with over 20 years of experience across broadcast, cable, streaming, and digital, Timothy brings a rare combination of creative instinct and business acumen to content strategy. His career spans not only senior creative and executive roles, but the ground-up launch of cable networks – including Planet Green and OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network for Warner Bros. Discovery – where he helped build programming foundations from scratch.
He has held senior roles at CNBC, TLC and UPtv/Aspire, overseeing landmark series including Who Do You Think You Are? (Emmy nomination), Little People, Big World, Say Yes to the Dress, What Not to Wear, and My 600lb-Life, as well as acclaimed documentaries Serving Life and Letters to Jackie. As a screenwriter, his Hallmark film Where Are You, Christmas? was named by Variety as one of the Top 25 Hallmark Christmas movies of all time.
Timothy is a graduate of Brown University and a member of the Producers Guild of America and the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
