Speaker Adam Cunningham
Adam Cunningham is Chief Executive Officer of Allied Global Marketing, one of the industry’s most established global marketing groups across entertainment, gaming, sports and location-based experiences. As CEO, he is leading the company’s next phase of growth by bringing Allied’s global teams closer together around a shared approach rooted in cultural futurism, while continuing to expand the data, technology and applied AI capabilities that equip its people, sharpen human judgement and help clients respond to change earlier and more effectively.
He joined Allied through the 2011 acquisition of 87AM, the digital agency he founded in New York during the financial crisis. After rapidly scaling the business, Adam became one of the key architects of Allied’s modern evolution. In 2020, he was appointed Chief Strategy Officer, becoming the youngest executive to hold a C-suite role in the company’s history.
Over the past several years, Adam has helped shape Allied’s strategic direction at a moment of profound change across media, marketing, and culture. He has led much of the company’s investment in proprietary tools, data infrastructure, and applied AI, helping global brands operate with greater precision, speed, and relevance in an increasingly fragmented landscape. Allied’s client roster includes many of the world’s leading media and entertainment companies, including Netflix, Amazon, Disney, Warner Bros. Discovery, Paramount, and NBCUniversal.
Adam also writes Strange Loop, a publication exploring the intersection of AI, culture, and markets, now read in more than 30 countries. His work and perspective have led to speaking invitations at major conferences and private presentations for leading companies, studios, and leadership teams on AI, culture, media, and the future of attention.
