James Farr oversees development strategy and leads the creation of premium unscripted series and specials for major global broadcasters and streaming platforms at Cream Productions. A long-time member of the company’s senior leadership team, he has built and guided a diverse slate spanning history, science, pop culture, and true crime.
His credits include the global hit Age of Samurai: Battle for Japan (Netflix) and the reboot of Life After People (History Channel); CNN’s History of the Sitcom and ABC’s The Game Show Show; An Optimist’s Guide to the Planet (Bloomberg/Crave); and acclaimed true crime hits including Fear Thy Neighbor (ID/Bell Media), The Texas Cheerleader Murder Plot (ID/HBO Max), and Relative Secrets with Jane Seymour (Acorn TV).
