Kevin S. Over the past two decades, Healey has created, developed, and produced projects that have reached audiences in more than 100 countries worldwide, generating tens of millions of dollars in global revenue and establishing him as one of the leading innovators in the genre.

Healey is the creator behind four of the ten most successful hidden-camera formats of all time, including the iconic Scare Tactics, widely regarded as one of the most influential alternative formats ever produced. The series became a cultural phenomenon, airing more than 100 episodes across multiple seasons, selling internationally across more than 100 countries, and cementing its place in television history. IMDb ranks Scare Tactics among the Top 5 Alternative Formats of All Time, reflecting the show’s enduring global impact and influence.

Healey’s success in the format continued with the NBC hit Betty White’s Off Their Rockers, which became an instant audience favorite and went on to win both an Emmy Award and a Critics Choice Award. The series demonstrated Healey’s unique ability to blend comedy with authentic human reactions — a creative signature that has become central to many of his most successful projects.

Among Healey’s other major television successes are the hit TruTV series The Carbonaro Effect, starring magician Michael Carbonaro, and Fameless, the hidden-camera celebrity comedy series starring David Spade. Both shows became signature titles for the network and further established Healey as one of the leading architects of modern hidden-camera entertainment.

Healey also brought the format into the global streaming era with Prank Encounters, the Netflix hidden-camera horror series that became the #4 alternative series worldwide on Netflix in 2020, proving the continued global demand for innovative unscripted formats built around real reactions.

Beyond television, Healey has become a prolific producer of film and streaming projects. His recent feature work includes the Hulu comedy Prom Dates, the Paramount+ horror comedy Cursed Friends, and the global action-comedy franchise Die Hart, starring Kevin Hart alongside John Travolta, John Cena, and J.K. Simmons. The Die Hart franchise has expanded into multiple installments across Amazon, Roku, and other major platforms, becoming one of the most successful action-comedy series of the streaming era.

Healey’s work also extends into premium documentary and branded storytelling. Earlier in his career, Healey also produced the Fox television event Terrence Howard’s Fright Club, which became the highest-rated program in its timeslot and further expanded his reputation for building large-scale audience experiences.

From 2016 to 2021, Healey served as Chief Creative Officer at Ben Silverman’s Propagate and Big Breakfast, where he oversaw development and production across numerous television and digital platforms. From 2022 to 2025, he served as Co-Head of HartBeat Studios, Kevin Hart’s production company, where he led the development of film, television, and digital content for global platforms.
