Speaker Jessica Schmiedchen
Jessica Schmiedchen oversees development of original content and formats in the factual, entertainment and documentary series genres at CBC and CBC Gem. She is responsible for sourcing the best new formats from around the world, and working with Canada's independent production community to bring their original ideas to life.
Since joining the Unscripted team in 2011, Jessica has led development on popular and award-winning series including Stuff the British Stole, Race Against the Tide, Best In Miniature, Great Canadian Pottery Throw Down, Bollywed, Ghosting, The Assembly, Must Love Dogs and Cirque Life.
