Speaker Mitsou Gelinas
Mitsou Gélinas is a multifaceted artist, host and entrepreneur. She won the hearts of Quebecers on television as a child before achieving major success as a singer, with eight albums to her name.
Her debut single “Bye Bye Mon Cowboy” was voted one of Quebec’s favourite songs — more than 30 years after its release.
A born communicator, she has maintained a strong connection with her audience by hosting several radio shows (morning, midday and drive‐time), all of which reached number one in the Greater Montreal area, a streak that lasted 21 consecutive years.
Her writing skills have also made her one of the most inspiring women of her generation. She served as director of the women’s magazine Clin d’oeil and founded her own media platform, MitsouMagazine.com, which showcases more than 20 passionate bloggers and journalists.
Since entrepreneurship is never far from creativity, Mitsou is co‐owner of Grandé, a company that owns studios where major Quebec and international productions have been filmed. She is also the proud owner of Ray‐On, which provides music services for film and television.
