Speaker Adam Rodness
Adam Rodness is a producer, actor, and writer and the co-founder of Toronto-based production company 5’7 Films. Rodness began his career producing music videos for major recording artists including Eminem, Drake, Usher, and The Black Eyed Peas, before transitioning into film and television. Rodness co-created and produced the Rockie Award–nominated CBC series The Thrillusionists and produced the feature documentary 20 Moves, about the global phenomenon of the Rubik’s Cube as well as the Netflix baseball card hit Jack of All Trades. In narrative film, Rodness co-wrote and produced cult genre features including Scarecrows, The Haunted House on Kirby Road, and the cult hit Faking a Murderer, which led to their partnership with Kevin Hart's Hartbeat where they produced their follow up film Don't F**k With Ghosts. His producing credits also include the feature film Vandits and the new Hockey Hall of Fame film Little Big Shot for TSN. Through 5’7 Films, Rodness and co-founder Stu Stone are currently developing a slate of comedy and genre projects with partners like Bell Media, Neshama, Paramount+ and Fox Entertainment Global.
