Anton Leo is an Executive Producer at Counterfeit Pictures, a Toronto-based production company with a focus on comedy and comedians. Along with partners Dan Bennett and Shane Corkery, Counterfeit recently completed filming season one of The Office Movers (Crave), a half-hour workplace comedy from Bell Media Studios breakout stars and online legends Jae and Trey Richards.
Previous productions include One More Time (CBC) with comedian DJ Demers (The Tonight Show, Conan), the CSA nominated Shelved (CTV), the award-winning Sunnyside (CityTV/FX Canada) and the mockumentary Decoys (CBC Gem). Counterfeit has also co-produced four seasons of Roast Battle Canada (CTV Comedy) and two seasons of Comedy Night with Rick Mercer (CBC), along with a collection of solo stand-up specials.
The company’s newly established audio division, Counterfeit Sounds, produced the Audible Canada series Benefits With Friends starring Mae Martin and Sabrina Jalees, and released its first comedy album, Debra DiGiovanni’s Honourable Intentions.
